My parents came from a time far in the future. They escaped from a doomed planet of the apes, using a spacecraft from our past, now my present. They were welcomed into the twentieth century for a time, until it became known my parents were a sign of man's end on Earth.
They were put to death for it, but not before giving birth to me. I was raised in secret by a circus owner, and one of the kindest humans I have ever known. His death inspired me to take arms against the keepers of my kind, who had taken the apes of Earth and gradually enslaved them.
We have come full circle, for the ship sent into the future was never launched to the best of my knowledge. The slate of time has been wiped clean by paradox and war, and it is my intention to create a better world. It is not my goal to make a world dominated by mankind. Neither is it my goal to create a new and better Planet of the Apes. Instead, I want to create a world of harmony between all the creatures that have the will to make of it what they will.
I am Caesar, and these are my words.
